I have brewed 5 extract kits so far from Midwest Supplies (the local store)
I have been brewing for about a month and a half
I jumped into brewing head first and bought a alomst complete setup from a guy off craigs list with a few cornys, carboy, NIB party pig and a bunch of little other stuff that is needed to get started. I added a bunch of stuff to my collection and it's getting to be more fun now that I have some better equipment, Including a outdoor burner. I have bottled some but the first batch went into the keg. I have people test my brew and at first some dont like it and then after the first one they are still asking for another beer. I guess it grows on you cause even the mother in law that only drinks mich golden piss light, only objected to the IPA brew, but she seems to like the others. Next brews in line are a Flat Tire, Belgian Wit, and another Irish Red. I learned the hardest thing about brewing is patience. As each of the previous batches were almost gone is when they started to taste the best. As much as I hate to go buy beer again, I will have to so the beer can age and blend like it is susposed to.
