Greetings from Mobtown, AL!

Hey everyone! I'm a new brewer from Mobile, AL. I learned about The BN via the Beer School podcast. Seeing as how Alabama is one of three states left in the nation with a 6.0% ABV cap on beer, homebrewing seems like the best way to experience great beer. I've listened to quite a few of the Session podcasts, and I find them very entertaining and informative. Thanks for having me!

We don't like your kind around here boy...

Slackers are more than welcome but anyone who's motivated about anything just won't fit in! Not even if you're motivated about slackin'!!

hey man, welcome.

There used to be a little walk-up trailer restaurant near the Brookley Complex that served up these HUGE sandwiches with about 7 pieces of bread, eggs, lots of meat, cheese, etc. They were about 8 inches high. I called them heart cloggers. Do you know this place?

That's my main memory of Mobile, sorry.

I've guess I've been forewarned, ZZ. :D

Yo, BUB!

codewritinfool: I've not been to a place like that near the Brookley Complex, but they have plenty of convenience stores around the downtown area that make the breakfast cups. Scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, cheese, and buttery grits. Cheap and filling. Those heart cloggers sound awesome, though. So does a crawfish pie.
