Hello to all my brewing brotha's!

Been listening to the archives and all of the live shows since January. and live just down the road from Firestone-Walker Brewing in Paso Robles, CA. Started homebrewing last year, and brewed my first batch right on my 21st birthday!

I look forward to becoming active in the forum and hanging out in the chat and trying to call into the Sunday show. Thanks to Justin and all the guys at the Network for all you do to provide an awesome place for everyone to come to learn and simply have a great time!

Skal!

I started doing extract for the first 9 months or so. After a few misadventures (the cap being left on the airlock of my fermenting Oatmeal Stout and an ensuing splatter all over 2 two rooms of my house) and beginning to listen to the BN, I've moved on to a partial mash and am now building my first kegerator :).

Thanks to a fellow brewer I've recently met, I've been hooked up with a mash-tun and hopefully I'll be able to go all-grain this summer.[/b]

Hey there superman and welcome to the BN,

I started brewing when I lived in SLO. I dont know if there is a home brew suply store in Paso, if there isnt you might want to take a look at Doc's cellar in Pismo Beach. I did all grain and had to ride my bike 20 miles each way to pick up supplys each week. Talk about a sore back! It was worth it though.
