Man this place kicks ass

Wed Feb 28, 2007 6:15 pm

I am a novice homebrewer. I have been brewing for exactly one year now. I discovered the BN about 2 months ago and I am still listening to the archives. The shows so far in 2007 have provided an WEALTH of information and I am glad I found this place.

Currently I am a partial mash/extract brewer. I just started full boil recipes since I got a 33 quart turkey fryer for Santa Claus. Right now, as I am posting this, I am drinking the second brew from my new equipment, it is a Sierra Nevada Celebration clone recipe from the BYO clone recipe. Damn, its good and gettin' me buzzed.

Sorry to hear Daniella is leaving. That chick will do will with her new job though and I wish the best to her.

I am from South Carolina, hick hick :) , and I am an internal auditor for a major flagship university in the state. I love homebrewing and I hope this forum doesn't mind questions because being a novice I ask many.

To all the Brewcasters, please keep up the informative shows because we love them, and cheers to all forum members cause "ya'll will be seein me round' these parts."

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

No, Travis. I don't think he's had any of your beer yet.

If you are making homemade beer on the turkey fryer you got Santa for Christmas doesn't that make you an Indian giver?

Mort, I was half in my cups last night from 6.7% celebration clone when I typed this post. I should have said I got the fryer from Santa. Thinking of it now though, I am santa. Hmm, need more beer.
