Greetings from Minnesota

Sun Nov 11, 2012 1:05 pm

Hi all.

Decided to step up my homebrewing after 10 years. I am going to branch out and do Ciders, Mead and some more complex beers. Depending on how things go I may go all-grain next year. I am happy to have found a site where people share my interests.

As I always say "The fun never stops!" and "Le Bonne Temps Roule" :bnarmy:

Welcome! Glad to see you are ready to step it up. Lots of great brewers on here ready to help you out with any questions you have and perhaps provide a little entertainment too.

Just kegged my wild saison cider today. Fermented both with the natural wild yeasts from the apples and a pitch of French Saison yeast. Nice sour! Should be ready to sample again next spring.

Welcome. I too did my first mead and cider this year. I've been doing all grain for about 4 years. After the first couple times, you'll wonder why it took so long to make the change.
