Hey Guys,

The show is great. I'm still working my way through the archives. A lot of awesome information.

I've been brewing for 9 years, both beer and mead. I got my first taste of mead at a medieval event. When I found out that you couldn't buy it, and that it was homebrew, I was hooked. I've been brewing ever since.

This year I made a New Year's Resolution to brew a different style ofbeer every month that I've never brewed before. The running joke is that I have my own beer of the month club.

Welcome to the forums. I myself am from Vermont. About the meade, however, I have found it for sale in Bevmo (in California).

Welcome Viking! Pretty ambitious undertaking a new style every month. I'm interested in how that turns out. Have you kept to it all year thus far?

Glad to have you aboard!

I've held to it so far. I've also been keeping a record of it by blogging about my brews. http://meadhall.org

Jamil's show on Ordinary Bitters got me interested in trying one for May.
