Hey everyone,
I brewed my first beer last fall (2005) with a friend of mine. We wanted to make a really hoppy brown ale, but the guy at the local homebrew store gave us a recipe that turned out more like a hoppy stout. It was pretty good nonetheless and got me hooked on homebrewing. I bought my own brewing equipment and brewed a maple pale ale which I have on tap currently. At this point I'm just making extract brews with specialty grains while I kinda learn the ropes a bit. Time permitting, I'll be making a La Fin du Monde clone this weekend. I renovated my old college dorm fridge a while back into a kegerator that holds sixtels, and now I don't have to buy kegs anymore... I brew 'em!

Welcome Greg!

I appreciate your taste in handles... Just don't steal my THUNDER :)

I started last fall too and now I am doing all grain like a maniac. Just read a lot and then take the plunge! Extract is good... but that smell when you mash in.....mmmmmm!
