New brewer from the Southside of ATL

Wed Mar 01, 2006 7:02 am

Atlanta that is!

New to brewing. Love the show!

Planning to start a Porter this week. It will be an extract brew and God willing will make me proud.

Here is something I dig about this show. It seems to be done on a shoestring budget but is still well done. It's great that you guys find a way to make the show happen and keep it interesting. There is nothing better than people persuing their passion!

A little brew for thought. Ernest Hemingway lived by the mantra "Above all, endure". He committed suicide in 1961 at the age of 62. I love the irony of this.

welcome rockfish. I agree that the webcast and site rock and are ran on a ridiculously small budget. This can change if you go to the main page and hit the DONATE button.

Cheers,

I go to Just Brew It in Fayetteville. Doug, the owner, is really helpful. I call him all the time with questions and he puts up with me so he deserves my business. Traffic that way is a bitch though.

How long you been brewing SaintTaris?

Since December 18th, 2005. I'm already on Batch 11.

I think I have a problem.

That's right, the Cheetah!! I knew it had something to do with P@$$4!! I was there many moons ago (pun intended.) It was actually the first all-nude I had been to and this girl was dancing directly on the stage in front/above me. I could see her tonsels... I needed a few shots after that :)

BeerNeccessities in Alpharetta is a drop point and sponsor for "the Brew Master Open" competition, is it not? They do a BJCP comp in May do they not?

That's the closest comp from me in rural TN. I planned to drive down for it. Maybe we can go to Pappadeaux's in Marietta for Aligator tail and dirty rice.
Or better yet, raise cain in Buckhead!
