One more from the Carolinas

I have been hanging around and snooting through past posts for the past 20 or 30 minutes, so I figure it is time to start one of my own.
I have been brewing for going on a year now with 40 gallons under my belt. I have done mostly extract with a bit of steeping thrown in. Mostly German Hefe Weizen and my own Fat Tire clone. I will be racking a Fat Tire to the secondary next weekend and tossing an IPA in the brewpot.
My equipment is basic with a 7 Gal SS brewpot, glass carboys, and plenty of bottles. Plans are to have a V-Vessel by the end of the month since my local "Brew Hero", Jess at Alternative Beverage, is going to start carrying them. It may not be as nice as a SS conical, but one, it isn't $600. And two, my two year old won't be able to reach the airlock!
Looking forward to picking up some valuable information here from you folks. I really want to get my feet wet with an all-grain one of these days....
