It is amazing how many of you Aussies have taken to the BN. I figure that either you all are a bunch of alcoholics or you heard the rumor that Justin's gay. I'm not sure which reason is correct, but I'll bank on the former answer. Anyway, it's great to hear homebrewing perspectives, ect. from those of you down under and see how universal our hobby really is (except for the damn metric system  ).

The Metric system

10 x 10 = 100cm to a meter
10 x 10 x 10 = 1000m to kilometer
10 x 10 = 100 degrees to boil water
10 x 10 x 10 = 1000g to a kilogram

Obviously a system used by people who feel that they might need to refer to the number of thier fingers when the maths gets a bit tough....

The imperial System

14 pounds = 1 Stone
12 inches = 1 Foot
16 ounces = 1 Pound

A system preferred by people who like to include not only thier fingers, but the probable number of thier teeth in thier calculations...

Tomatoe has an e, colour has a u & so does flavour

Actually thirsty... no it doesn't. Well only if you live in Queensland or are Dan Quail. The e is only added to the plural (ie: tomato singular, tomatoes plural). Sorry.

Cheers

I blame the brain rotting induced by having to look at American spelling all day.

Cheers

And don't get me started on alumINium. How a nation that can lose a whole syllable became a superpower is beyond me.
