Hi There

Thu Jan 17, 2008 9:13 pm

Hi there.

I have been reading posts from this forum for awhile now and finally registered. I am not much of a poster, but wanted to be able to do so when the spirit moved me.

I am located in Cheshire OR, which is between Eugene and Corvallis. Denny Conn and I live about 10 minutes from each other.

I have been brewing for 28 years. Been all grain since 1984. The last few years my wife and I have been brewing about 25 five gallon batches a year. She likes to brew CAP's, Honey Wheats, and Meads. On our web site (see profile) we host our good friend Bob G's recipes. You can also find my Promash brew sessions files there.

Cheers to all!
Tom

DAYUM.

You are a prolific son of a bitch. I only WISH I could get enough time to brew that much. Hat's off to you, man. Welcome aboard.

AG since 1984 ?!?!?!? How was the quality of the Fleischmann's back then? You definitely have longevity in the hobby. Post away, man....

Actually, I did use Fleischmann's on the Apple Jack I made while I was in High School in the 70's. My parents bought me a wine making kit after that hoping that I could make better wine then Apple Jack. heh.....

For the beer, we had a choice of Ale or Lager yeast. Both were dried with no brand name.

Welcome Tom. It must have been difficult brewing before Gore invented the internet.
