I do have to agree with Brewta2 that the states have great beer all around. As for PNW beers I like Boundary Brewery and Port Townsend. I do have a partial feeling to Georgetown because the owner used to give us kegs of there Pale Ale while I was in college for parties.

I still have to say that I think Sonoma County wins with great beers. Living 15 minutes from Russian River and 45 minutes from Anderson Valley spoiled me a bit.[/quote]

Ummm... correction; The PNW has arguably the best craft beer in the country.

Can't argue with that -- except to add that Portland is the hub upon which the beer universe revolves in the pnw imho. My favs are Hair of the Dog Adam/Fred/Doggie Claws, and Hopworks Urban Brewery Boh Pils. I like to brew a lot of different styles, but really like the Belgian styles, especially the quads (like my own -- His Infernal Majesty -- 1.147OG, 1.020 TG, 40 IBU's, 18 SRM, 40 PSI), and those luscious sour ales of flanders!

Prost!
