Greetings from the upper left hand corner

Hey folks, greetings from the Great Northwest! I'm another lurker that is stepping up to join the fray. I find this site and the related broadcasts interesting, entertaining and educational (not necessarily in that order  ). I worked in the brewing field for about 6 years at a regional brewery that unfortunately was shut down in the late 90's. A few years later, I jumped into the home brewing hobby to as a way of releasing some of my creative energy. Been at it about 3 years now, and thoroughly enjoy the processes involved in building the brewery as well as the beers. I get a lot out of sites like this, and just hope I can add a little back as well. Cheers!

Thanks guys. Danno, I wish I could be at the NHC NW's, but my BJCP certification isn't anywhere in sight. It was fun in my "past life" to let people know that " No, I don't GET to drink beer at work, I HAVE to drink beer at work!" Snif, snif...I miss those days!

No, haven't had a chance to try the Elysian yet. That will be great when they open up by Safeco. One more reason to go to the park!
