New Archive and Podcast Setup

Fri Mar 02, 2007 1:56 pm

Hey BNer's,

As promised, I have updated our archive index for ease of use and searchability. When you click our archive page now you will be brought to a main archive page that allows you to choose which show you are looking for (Jamil Show, Sunday Show, etc) and go to a master list of each episode of those shows. You can also search the arhives by guest, keyword, topic, etc.

Also, all shows are now available to subscribe to by podcast (ie. Lunchmeet finally has an rss) At the top of each shows page is an iTunes subscription link, and the exact .xml address that you can copy and paste into any other podcast subscription program.

One imoprtant note that should be made - The Sunday Show subscription link has changed so you will need to update your subscription programs to the new address:

http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/sundayshow.xml

The old address is supposed to refer you to the new one automatically, but I don't know how well that will be working. you can also jsut clikc on the iTunes link on the sunday show page to be brought to iTunes to subscribe.

Hopefully everything will work properly and you can all enjoy our new ease of use.

Prost!
Justin

Damn it!! I finally thought I'd be all caught up in the podcast for the Sunday show, and suddenly there's 20 more episodes to listen to, plus all of the other shows...

And if that wasn't enough, my earlier post about improving the archives now looks stupid ... my only revenge is knowing that in 20 years Justin can look forward to being as out of it as I am ...

It's not early onset alzheimer's, I just need another homebrew ...

The search doesn't work. I searched for:

Ass-Clown - 0 results
Ass-hat - 0 results
Surrender Monkey - 0 results

Hmm.

Nicely done Justin. I have an archaic way of getting your show into iTunes. This makes it much easier.
