Get your questions ready ... The BN is having an Alabama State Legislator on the Sunday Session ... way to go Justin and crew (maybe just Moscow).
Questions:
1: How do you best handle attempted rhetoric coming from someone both convicted to their position and completely ignorant? (Play the alabama Audio)
2: How many lynchings have you been invited to?
3: How many did you attend?

Now I know how Daniela felt watching Beerfest. Being from the south, the Alabama segment from the Chuckanut show was pretty hard to listen to, but that's what the fast forward button is for.

Homebrewing has been legal in most of the rest of the country for many years. Look at what beer and homebrewing does for Portland, Oregon and Asheville, NC. Both cities have significant tourism income, largely due to beer. In just this year, three new major breweries are coming to North Carolina, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, and Oscar Blue. Why wouldn't Alabama want new jobs, new small businesses, and tourism?

@ Quin ... no offense intended.
Slightly more seriously though: Would the argument that Jesus was a homebrewer carry any weight while arguing with state legislators that make claims like "Noah was a wino" to argue against the bill?

Unfortunately, most of the people who are really opposed to alceehol in the south for religious reasons argue that the wine called wine in the bible was hardly alcoholic and mainly just grape juice. They will not believe that Jesus had anything to do with alcohol.
