BrewDouche, I'm starting to wonder if you are still celebrating your DOTW win by staying drunk for the week, or are in fact insane.

Let us reason together...
Would I homebrew or be here if I were normal?
No.
Spidey, I take that as a high compliment, and I have not been drunk since.
Most definitly a bit off kilter then.
If being off topic is dangerous then yes.

But you must "Read Into" my post which is a reply to someones question.

After I got my medal there was an off week. I celebrated my victory a bit too hard. Ended up puking that Thursday after drinking at the bar following a softball game, rode my bike to a friends house, promptly chugged beer, whisky then puked.

Now Now let us discuss responsible :asshat: ery. Or is that an oxycottonmorron?

Really how many of you can maintain a Mrs.Blowmax level of allout drunkiness week after week, and still maintain any semblanse of a managable life. Wife, kids, job, church or local social interaction, all of which are neccesary for a fulfilling homebrew experience. If you dont have a balanced life :asshat: ery just loses some of its appeal. A wife if she's worth her salt works with you and drinks with you but together you dont get too close to the brink. Kids need to be taught the ways of the Homebrewer so that when they are old they will not depart. Friends and family enjoy and share your homebrew, not picking you up at the police station, or kicking you out of thier house.

Now that I have won DOTW. I am actually inspired to win a few compitition medals. I know my beer is good. People other than me drink it all instead of BMC. Now I want some bling.

Its all about Balance my Brewing Brothers and sisters.
Balance.
