PH and Mash Temp

I just listened to the water show and it was great as usual. Isn't the 5.2 mash PH that you shoot for the actual PH at mash temp and not room temp? I read in HOW TO BREW that there's a .3 difference between mash temp and room temp PH with the room temp being higher. When I take a mash PH reading with my ATC PH Meter I go for a 5.5 PH reading because the reading gives a room temerature reading so 5.5 would equal 5.2 mash temp PH.
