Along the same lines, James Spencer of Basicbrewing.com responded to an email Jamil sent him and plugged the Jamil show.

I was actually pretty suprised by the Basic Brewing Radio. It does come of as very Public Radio sounding, but I've gotten some really good information from there. I listen to it when I run out of TBN shows.

I have talked to James Spencer from Basic Brewing and he is a really nice guy. I am looking at carrying his DVDs in my store. I watched the Extract one and it is decent and worth it for beginners. His show has it's purpose just like this one.

I am glad to hear he is pimping the Jamil Show. I would hope that he would be willing to join the Brewing Network but I imagine this is one of the guys that said no when Justin asked. Oh well, his loss there.

Love both shows but love to be entertained a little bit more, probably has something to do with being a little beyond most of the conversations on Basic Brewing.

Sorry JP!!

I only listened to the meat once, the first show. I realized that it isn't very work friendly. I have been meaning to listen again but just have forgot or have had customers at my desk.

It definitely is not safe for work.

When I own this business I will allow drinking, cussing and stogies. We will definitely have a good time on friday then! This of course won't last long as I won't have any customers...

James is a great guy and I really enjoy his Basic Brewing show. I highly recommend listening to it if you haven't before. Lots of great information from some great guests too.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.
