The inconsistency in schedule bothers me, too. Only a small minority of the listeners tune in for the live show compared, yet the live chat makes the BN programming unique among *all* the podcasts I listen to. Having the show on Sunday is a great way to cap off the weekend.

I'd listen to BrewStrong or CYBI live more often if I knew when the show was scheduled for. At this point, there's no schedule and all we get is a tweet saying new CYBI on in 20 minutes or something. That's pretty half-ass...

I can get behind that!

Jamil just sounds tired, he has a lot going on and maybe it's just time to pass the baton to tasty or Nathan or JP, or a combination thereof. Jamil can be a guest host.
If sundays really works better for Nate, maybe Sundays is good with JP and Tasty as well. Move CYBI and Brew Strong to Sundays. Better, let Nate host CYBI and Brew Strong, let Tasty and JP alternate every other show so they can do The Session.
I think the scheduling issue is a matter of who can bring it?
Go to a 36 or 48 hour heads up period on shows, but stick to it. Post a tickertape across the top of the page with shedule notes. Quit with the constantly changing flash crap on the web page. Keep it simple!

Who knows what the issues are though, it's easy to stand outside and armchair quarterback.

I like the shows, I like that they get a bit sophomoric at times, but it keeps it lite. I appreciate what the crew puts together and the work they have to do to bring it. Maybe it is just growing pains!

I will cut JZ a ton of slack. The guys has always answered my emails and does a great show. Clearly, he put a lot of effort in. In the past year, he's been opening a new production brewery which must take a ton of time and effort.

I bought a case of Evil Twin and it was quite tasty stuff.

All I'm asking is if they know in advance, we'd appreciate a little more notice.

As much as I'd love to hear any brewcaster giving advice . I know Nate is about a 45 min drive to the studio . Imagine working a 40 hr week , fitting in your band , lovely partner and finding time to do a 3 hour show just to cover something we can google ourselves . JZ lives even farther .
I'm gratefull for what they do . I also can't expect them to give shows on a set schedule . It's all part of the BN .

Very true Pete, it is a lot to expect, especially considering it is largely a labour of love. Perhaps we have just come to be used to the regularity of shows and so expect it!

I'm not bitching (well yes I am) but this is what happens when the f@rking Sunday Session is scheduled for other days other than Sundays; I don't get the chance to listen live and chat. I am off work this week when the "normal" show would be on, but its the off week.

I love the Session but with the show on a Monday, I feel like she is cheating on me; dat bitch!

Just sayin'

....and this weekend there is no session due to a "Labor Day" holiday? Having a holiday on the boss' purse is just what the US needs to get the economy going again. Come on comrades, think about me (1st) and your country (2nd), I need to get my fix of session.

Far out, what will be the excuse next weekend, wait don't tell me its Monday show caus that will really piss me off.

Sometimes I feel like I'm just talking to an empty chair. Just sayin'
