To begin, I'm elated that you enjoy the show so much that the mere 24 hours without the archive has left you in such a frazzled state. It's up now, so enjoy. Unfortunately technical problems do arise, and occassionally, like today, a whole team of tech heads wouldn't have gotten the archive posted any sooner. But I'll be happy to hire that team as soon as I recieve your sizable donation (about 10 grand a month should do fine...I'm not greedy). Until then, whenever I can find time to leave my dorm room (it's really funny in there)I'll just go ahead and do it myself.

In short, I already know that I'm not your favorite Brewcaster...it's been said before...I'm still sleeping fine at night. But, unless you really feel the need too, it'd be cool if all personal shots, like "sometimes you're just a douchebag", or making judgements about your impression of my abilities to handle the work here could be sent to my e-mail address. Up until that point, I was with you brother. I will allow people to post what they want here, but I think I speak for everyone when I say that it will be a much nicer place if we don't actually begin insulting eachother. I truly hope that I have misunderstood this post, but I fear not. The people here that take shots at eachother, do it because they actually mean just the opposite of what they are saying. In other words, we allow others to insult us here, because we know it means they like us. It's fun. And we're intelligent enough to get that (even me...weird huh?). You haven't posted anything to let me know it's cool when you call me douchebag.

Ok...I probably have a kegstand or beer bong or something adolescent and dorm like to do. Disregard everything that I have said if I am merely tired from last 18 hours of frat partying I've done to get the archives up, and have misunderstood your intent. But it looks like I'm not the only one who read it that way. I do appreciate the concern for how things are going and I'm well aware of what foundations need to be laid to get BN rolling. I'm not quite as slow as I let on. Of course, as always, you're all welcome to post about and/or criticize anything you want here...but don't think that means I'm always going to keep my mouth shut.

Justin

ps. everyone knows that a douchebag will cool a kettle the fastest.

pss. I actually am as slow as I let on

pss. f you

I think the brewcasters should do keg stands on the next drunk show. Alright, I know that wouldn't help the direction of the show but it would be damn funny to see who could go the longest. Maybe on the lunchmeat show. I am betting Jonny 5-0 would lose again.

I think douchebag is my favorite insult. :D

Funny how gandolf can spell douchebag, but has problems spelling smaller words. Keep up the good work J. I appreciate you working so hard to get the archives up since I missed the Sunday show because I was flying to Dallas for work this week. I will listen in my hotel room tonight.

Just remember, when dealing with people that just don't get it - for every problem there is a final solution.

J, I am willing to help too. I know absolutely shit about computers, websites, and OS'. I am a highly skilled chef though and if you poor folks at TBN need a gourmet meal served up while trying to get some technical problems under control, I am there for ya. How about some rack of lamb, potatos annne, asparagus, with a red wine demi glace. Then finish it off with creme brulee' or chocolate souffle with Grand Mariner creme anglais.

am with you and you are my favourite brewcaster!!!!

Thanks guys for all the support and help you are offering! I really love this community and I love to be able to play sarcastic jokes just for the good fun...this is right down my alley and I have laughed tears over what you guys have done so far. The creativity around the BN, within the Brewcasters AND the listeners AND the website users really amazes me a lot...
If sarcasm turns into insults though I do not appreciate it anymore and I would assume nobody does! It is just something, a feeling about what you read, where you can understand if it is meant to be funny or if it actually wants to be an insult! Now, I understand that black humour always leaves room for interpretation...Maybe the difference is just in your guts..I guess you guys understand what my retarded, German brain is trying to say...

When I first got in touch with the brew community it was Jon who kept telling me, that homebrewers are all about helping each other out and supporting each other for the better outcome, e.g. a better beer. :drink
I have found this attitude confirmed in the BN. Listeners have offered their help, have sent in funny clips, have called in to give their share, have donated money to keep the thing alive, have provided feedback, have given us encouraging words and so on and so on...

I am proud and happy to be part of this.
