Should there be a show on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 5th)?

Tue Jan 17, 2006 3:55 am

Right now, the events page says that Feb. 5th's show is "TBA".

What's the plan for this day? The game starts at 6:20 EST, so it'll still be going on when the show would start.

For me personally, I'm having some guests over. It'll be hard to listen to the show while everyone's in the house, so I vote no.

What does everyone else think?

As an aside, for the game, I'm serving a Pilsner. I was originally going to go with an American Brown Ale, but my basement temp. is sitting around 50 °F, so a lager seemed like a good plan. Plus, not everyone is used to good beer, so I figured a Pilsner would be a good introduction.

Yes, there should be a BN show. I couldn't care less about football. Now hockey, that would be different.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I'm in Pittsburgh and I say have the show. After all I might need some moral support.

I have paid so little attention to pro football this year that I didn't know when the super bowl was this year until I saw this thread. Who's playing? Not that I really care.

Go ahead and have the show, but expect us to not be paying much attention (not that we pay that much attention anyway) to the show while the new commercials are running.
