They can be a bit annoying. They seem to take themselves way too serious.

I'm not sure I think HBT is whiny, but I've found most people over there don't take the brewing hobby to excessive extent i like too. I got a lot of "thats overkill" or "its good enough" over there. Over here there are a lot less people, but there are a lot more people are even more nuts about homebrewing than me That and people's opionion seem to be based more in fact over here, and not "it works for me"

I posted over there for a bit and found the people were not very friendly or helpful. I haven't been back in quite some time.

The one over at Milfaholics is pretty good. I haven't been back in a while since I lost Justin's login info & my computer's been running really slow for some reason.

I signed up at NB's & HBT a long time ago. I didn't care for either of them. Unhelpful people, fanboys, bad info & a holier than thou attitude, depending on which one. This is the only brewing forum I use, but I frequent a couple others that are about things other than brewing.
