I'm sitting here in the dark... it's 10:30pm and we lost power ~3pm... It was a really nasty storm... trees down everywhere... trampolines going through windows.... Flagpole snapped in half... etc. You still alive Valorian? I barely made it home due to all the trees down. Posting using my cellular card... IT SUCKS it is sooo slow.... Using my laptop for light in the house. We made it ok other than a few shingles and flagpole casualty... oh and the neighbors fence in my yard. Scared the shit out of the wife tho! Beer is cold for now so not panicing
Hope all in the stateline area are ok.... OOOHHH power just came on!

Our house just got struck by lightening. Both TVs, DVD, VCR, 2 cordless phones, carbon monoxide monitor, garage door opener, ceiling fan, wireless router, cable modem and some other undiscovered shit are all fried. The house alarm system, also fried, is going fucking crazy. I had to cut the main power and yank the backup battery out. Cable is out too.

We just put our house on the market last night. I guess I got to call my realtor and put that off for a couple of days. Lucky for me, my unsuspecting neighbors have great wireless internet connectivity. :twisted:

Damn Guch you got whacked much worse than me.
Everything here is fine except my wireless... no biggie.
Many neighbors aren't so well off. Some streets are still closed. Most power is back on now...
Hope your insurance is good guch!

power came on 1.5 hours later.... Oh it's off again.... Fucking Com Ed... 2 transformers blew within 4 hours of each other.... suck.
