While I don't really do that anymore (kinda grew out of it) I'm lucky enough to be in a place where growing for personal use is decriminalized. I might do a few nights in county, were I growing anything illegal, but luckily outside of that I'm good, so long as I don't sell them.

I used to love showing up to a party with a big bag of "party favors" and watching it turn into Fear and Loathing in Where Ever the Hell I Was.
