no its not a diesel bub it is an inline 5 cylinder gm finally got smart and brought back the torque monster inline. The only thing that i ever seen that i didn't like about the inline was the front axle for the 4wd goes through the oil pan so watch that lil bitch.

This one has some kind of skid plate mounted on it. I can't see that the axle runs through the oil pan. That seems kind of weird. The truck is gas powered. Not the gutsiest thing in the world, but it is supposed to get close to 20 mpg.

well that there is a first, I never heard tell of a fella hit three deer at the same time. And to chase down and slaughter that one trying to get away with his life! I wanta party with you. Did you mount the heads? that would really dress up a sitting room all three heads lined on the wall above a fireplace. Maybe one could be named after the pickup truck they totalled. Well I do have to say thank god you and your little lady were not injured in such a volient and deadly collision.

Enjoy that almost new pickup sounds like quite a rig.

Three deer is so cool, never hit a cow or deer more than one at a time. That's some good meat if it can be saved.

Sorry for your loss, good trucks are hard to come by affordable.

To tell the truth, I think the big buck was humping the doe right there in the middle of the road. The smaller buck was behind them along with a few more does. I think they heard me and had broken up just before impact. It happened so fast I do not know how many deer there were and I could have hit more. All I know for sure is I killed two with the truck and finished the third one off.

The GMC seems like a pretty good truck. It handled real nice going down the road and got just over 20 mpg on the highway. I'm on my way into town right now to meet with the insurance adjuster and get the pay off on my old Chevy. Then I'll go sell some beans and pay for this truck. I listened to the archives from last night so maybe I will go look up Milt and make fun of him while I am in town.
