Had a tire blow out on the way to work today. Had to change that mofo in the whipping wind with no gloves and no hat (didn't think I'd be out in the wind but the 30 seconds to walk into work). Fortunately, someone had just given me a motorcycle helmet so I could at least keep my head warm. That and a couple warm-up breaks I took into the hispanic grocery store and I managed to plow through it. I think the lady in the store thought I was Darth Vader...or that's at least how she was looking at me. Time to see what new tires cost......
Pri: Community Nudity Ale, Magician Red Ale, Berliner Weisse
Bottled: Paxton's Tripel and Dubbel, 400 Rabbits Ale, Cap'n Crunch Amber Oat Ale

Ok,
So the older kid (3yo) and myself went to the "Hometown Christmas" night last evening... we saw the lighting of the christmas tree, spilled hot chocolate all over the place, petted a reindeer and a camel, rode a horsedrawn wagon up and down the main street... pretty much picture postcard assuming your idea of picture postcard is me in a bright yellow ski jacket and my daughter in all pink with snot-cicles and puffy red hands because she refused to put on her mittens... anyway whilst riding in the horsedrawn wagon, the wagon behind us was being pulled by mules (no not the stupid ass womens shoes... I just don't get those) which leads me to ponder. Why are they called mules? They are half horse and half donkey right??? Why aren't they called Honkeys?
Enjoy,
