BrewBum you are right about small towns. You are also right about death bringing out the best and the worst in people.

I actually like hanging drywall. Framing is cool too. I HATE taping drywall and roofing. Those two things drove me out of construction and on to my current career path. :wink:

I have a guy working for me that his specialty is drywall. He's OK with all the other stuff, but he is a wonder with drywall. He can mud and tape a wall in the same amount of time it takes me to convince myself I should get started.

Roofing is a love-hate thing. There are a lot of fly-by-night companies that make their living off hail storms. They book as many jobs as they can and do crappy work so they can get them all done. I don't mind roofing itself, I hate the tear off and prep work. I refuse to rush a job, though, just to try and keep up with the fly-by-nights.
