Beer Forum

i don't get the email on the forum. i subscribed to a number of forums and threads. it emails me for a while, and then stops. whenever i get an email i always hit the link to see what was new in the thread or forum. i haven't got email in about a week now for no apparent reason. i log in today and almost all the threads and forums i am subscribed to have been updated. whats the deal?

hmmm. kinda sucks. its hard to participate when you have to sift through lots of stuff for the threads you are interested in. if you need any help, i'm a geek myself. [*nix]

yar, i know that, but there are loads of threads that i look at once and don't care to look at again. sorry to say it, but 'rat pad' is one of them. i can't keep all the ones i don't want to look at in my brain.

oddly, now i'm getting emails for threads that i'm not subscribed to. hahaha.

i'm not subscribed to that thread, though i am subscribed to 'All Grain Brewing' but i thought that would only notify me if a new thread was created. and i'm certainly not getting email for every single post in that forum. [i'm not even getting email for the threads i am subscribed to in that forum . . .]

There is some sort of glitch in the software. I have never subscribed to a topic here yet I still get those emails once in a while.
