It was slow for awhile, then has sped up over the past week or so. We are experiencing a lot more traffic than we had ...say a month ago. There may be a server upgrade in our future if this keeps up.

Other than that, there is not much I can do in the meantime. I apologize for any slow activity.

phpBB is also kind of bloated, as far as proprietary forum systems go. Once traffic increases, I've heard/experienced that it isn't the best optimized system.

I mod on a vBulletin 3.6.5, and I love how it blazes...

I know at this point in the forum's maturity it is not really viable to change forum systems, due to the loss of past posts (which would obv. be devastating)

I haven't had any prob's with speed though, on a positive note. My cable is testing at the lowest 3.6 megabits/sec (1meg file DL in aprox. 3.3 sec's) and up to 6 megabits/sec (1meg file DL in aprox. 1 second).
