I was flipping through the satelite channels, after not having any sort of cable for a year, my thumb is a bit out of practice, but I came across a show on the "Fine Living Channel" It is called "The Thirsty Traveler" it is a guy that travels around and visits beer and alcohol related sites. The episode I saw he was in alaska visiting a brewery there. I think in future episodes they are branching out into wine and other stuff (there is one episode on Absinth). I have only seen the one episode, but it seems like it may be a decent show

I record this show all the time. It's fun to watch and learn about drinks from all over the world. It's not an in depth look brewing or distilling, but it is fun to watch anyway.
