Washington DC Visit

I'm going to DC this next weekend and have a couple days to fill while my wife is presenting at a conference. We are staying in the Dupont Circle area taking the Metro and buses. I will have my 4mo old son with, but he is experienced visiting breweries and pubs. Any suggestions for easy to get to breweries, brewpubs, or good craft beer bars?

I don't know anything about DC beer, but I must commend you on your sons awesomeness.

Church Key, RFD, Belgo Cafe, DC Brau (brewery) are a few and there is a pizza pub in Dupont Circle. Have fun.

Birreria Paradiso, the one in George Town is the better one, but the one on Dupont is really good too.

As everyone has said "Churchkey" rocks!

Port City, DuClaw, Blue&Gray, DC Brau, and Flying Dog are in the area if you are digging the brewery scene.

Max's in Baltimore, MD is good if you are want to make the drive.

I was in DC a couple of summers ago before I started brewing and really dug DuClaw.
