Duvel or Orval?

Tue Aug 28, 2012 9:11 am

So here's a stupid question:

Which beer is the one JP and the others always drink the morning after to cure a hangover?

I can never keep them straight.

I bet that an Orval would work in a pinch...

Typically, any bigger beer cures a hangover, or at least postpones it.

I find that a Duvel, followed quickly by 4 PBR's, then a Hop Stoopid to make sure the palette is still working, then 3 more PBR's, followed by 2 Moose Drool's, then the last 5 PBR's does the trick.

If for some crazy reason you're looking to prevent a hangover I highly recommend taking 1 Vitamin B Super Complex shortly before drinking. Costs maybe $5 a bottle and well worth it, I haven't had a hangover since. But don't let the lack of a hangover stop you from enjoy a Duvel or Orval first thing in the morning before work :jnj
