so is there someone that lives in wisconsin or around that area that could get me some of that???
hubby said that it's the beer for me....that i should love it...(we'll see)
so i'm asking if someone can get me a few bottles i'll pay for it all no biggie...so please let me know

I'm not sure if that's the same as I've had; but it was awesome. Close to the best belgian-style beer (hell, any beer) that I've had. It was more of a dubbel or BDStrong.

But if the red you're talking about is that cherry one- I wouldn't try too hard. It's like a good beer with some cherry cough syrup

I disagree completely with the assesment of the Belgian Red. I found it rather tastey and I usually hate fruit beers. Did it taste like beer as is commonly known, nope, that is probably why I liked it. It wasn't a wheat beer with some cherry notes, it was a cherry pie with some beer notes.

I personally like fruit beers. Well, at least the ones I make.

I didn't dislike the cherry beer. But I wouldn't buy it again (not that I buy a lot of commercial beers). It wasn't what I was expecting- too extreme on the cherry side as you pointed out. I'm a person who enjoys balance.

Sorry, a little late here. Anyone still looking? I will trade for even value of something local in your area or even homebrew (not a big fan of clovelike Heffe's though). I think it's like $5 a bottle here, but don't quote me on that, the bottlesa are large too 750ml. For some reason I am thinking that it may be lower in price, but I am not sure. I can't remember what I paid, but I know it was cheaper than Ommegang was there. I will be going there tomorrow to pick up some Gueuze, I will do an even trade with a person or two. Let me know if you are still interested. BTW, New Glarus is my favorite local brewer. Never had anything from them that was not top notch.
