Beer Forum

So I start pulling all the brewing gear from the random closets & spare room to start the getting back in the game process (man this shit's dirty). I noticed that for some reason I didn't push the stack of brew buckets all the way in the corner which I found quite odd. As a broke ass band member in my young 20's, I quickly learned how to pack stuff efficiently (like a double amp stack, 3 amp heads, all of our guitars/cables and a piece or two off the drum kit in a '95 Neon... with 1 passenger who usually got no foot room and an amp in their lap). Well anyways, it just didn't seem right, so I stop with the current pile & start pulling stuff out. Awesome, 2 kegs that I thought the bitch stole to sell when she moved out. I almost left it at that, but I figured I might as well move them next to the other ones so I don't forget to clean them at the same time. The bottom one was awful heavy for being another dirty keg, I spin it around and FUCKIN' SCORE! The last keg of Da Fidy, my first barleywine & the 50th batch I ever brewed!! Provided it really wasn't all that impressive when I drank the first keg of it, but this puppy has some serious age on it now. I burped the pressure valve & it's got plenty. I guess it's time to take a break from cleaning all the small vessels that I was preparing for a starter today & clean the kegerator first. Now I just need to find the box with all my old brew sheets in it to remember the numbers & recipe.

Must be one of those epic days, I went back to cleaning & my doorbell rang. The postman handed me a package that I wasn't expecting. I crack that puppy open & there's my new t-shirt & a pair of the new BN goblets. My email receipt is dated 7/10. 4 days instead of 4 months! No pubes or JP saliva anywhere to be found though, guess you can't have it all....

And BDawg, did you just compare my first barleywine to a $20? Shame on you! I believe the only way you can redeem yourself is for a new picture in that other thread you do so well at keeping alive. Brunette please.

I'd still clean them though. Did you use a black-light? Chances are that sneaky bastard found a way to leave some DNA on them somehow.
