What and where is everyone drinking for International IPA?

Heading to Harry's Hofbrau in San Jose to enjoy some Pliny & Stone 10th Ann. Let's do this!

I wish I could get a bottle of Pliny but I'll have to settle for my other favorite IPA, Hop Stoopid. Sadly by the time it reaches Montucky it's been handled pretty poorly, usually warm and the freshness factor is directly related to how fast the moose hauling it can move. In other words, not very.

I chose a different path for IPA Day. I figured we should give other styles recognition too. I will be drinking (with friends) Girardin Gueuze 1882 '05, Cantillon Kriek Lambic, Hanssens Oud Gueuze and a De Dolle Oerbier Special Reserve '06. From my personal cellar where I work.

Ozwald: Where in Montana do you live? I just moved to Seattle from Missoula and usually gave access to Pliny. I'd be happy to bring some to Missoula next time I visit in exchange for the cost or a beer and a Po Boy from the Dino Cafe.

(Edit) I was on the mobile forum earlier so I couldn't see where you lived in Montana. Now I see you're in Bozeman.

We're not gonna start a Cat/Griz thing here are we?

I think your demands are fair & can be met accordingly. Pliny is most definitely worth having to put up with Missoula for a few hours. Send me a PM & we can exchange some info.

Another option is to go to the Bistro IPA Festival in Hayward. 50+ IPAs and many of the brewers who brewed them.

Tasty
