Sam Adams Kentucky Style Ale

Does anyone have any idea what this is? It says it is an ale with natural flavor added and aged on oak. Wtf are the base style (is Kentucky Style a style?) and the natural flavors? I can't seem to find any info on it anywhere on the web.

Maybe they are referring to a Kentucky style Common ale. These are typically brewed with maize (flaked corn) in the mash along with some darker grains to get an amber color beer. It is usually brewed with a sour mash as well to give the beer a slight tang in the finish. Havent' heard about Sam Adams doing one so I am not 100 percent sure what they are going for.

Having never heard of it either, I would guess they are more referring to Bourbon than they are a nearly non-existent style like Kentucky Common.

So yeah, my guess is a bourbon beer.
