So idk what reqlly happen but i fucked my brew day by doin a quick extract batch n not accounting for the less volume n such my esb turned into a extra light epa but the hop character was not quite what i wanted so i dry hopped with what i had lying around fuggles and saaz at 1oz each. I tasted after 2 days n it wad great. I got busy n forgot about for another 3 days. I pulled the hops and tasted beer and almost shit myself. It tasted like resinny ass bong water. No idea what happened but its been 2 wks kind of mellowed out. Still a earthy resin in the after taste. No other off flavors or aromas. Any ideas what happen? Im gonna make a ex malty epa n blend them to try n save the beer... Thanks for input

If I were to guess I would say you got a bit to much oxygen in your beer dry hopping. If you can flush your carboy with Co2 next time that will help.

How old were the hops that you dry hopped with?

Prob 4 months, were kept in freezer. They were just ex i had layin around
