Just an FYI. There is a new lhbs on Lakeside Drive in the north side of Richmond. It is called Original Gravity and pretty well stocked for week 2 in business. Make sure to check it out. I am sure we have plenty of room for another lhbs in town.

It's nice to have the option of not driving an hour and a half from the west end. Spread the word peeps so this guy is able to stay open and grow.
ninetoedbrewing wrote:+1 Tony is a great guy and has a really nice setup. Open on Sundays and you have the option of measuring/weighing your own grain.

I stopped in there yesterday and he said he has some Blichman products on order. I also noticed that he has a real nice selection of brewing books and sounds willing to bring in other products that might not have been readily available at that other hbs in our area. I talked to Tony for a while and he is definitely eager to learn about what the brewers in our area are doing and what products would best suit our needs. If nothing else go check out the store and give him some feedback.

Good news. There used to be one on Cary St that was walking distance from my apartment at the time. It was almost like going to a flea market- kinda hit-or-miss. It's nice to see the market improving.
