Commercial Brett Beers?

Hey guys, I've been doing some research on some of the boards and I've seen a lot of people talking about brewing with Brettanomyces and the 'funky' kind of flavors it gives beers. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I'm interested to find out. Do you guys know of / have any preferences for commercial beers that use Brett?

you guys in america probably have heaps of brett beers but one we get down under and seems to be fairly world wide is orval.fukn awesome beer it is to, one of my favourites.

Yep, Orval is a good one. Jolly Pumpkin, Russian River, and The Bruery make great beers, as well.

Boulevard makes an excellent Brett Saison in their Smokestack series of beers.

If you live in a modest size metro area it should be easy to find a commercial example. The easiest thing to do is search for the cork-finished Belgian bottles. Most beers I've seen that are either fermented or bottled with Brett usually mention it rather predominately.

depending on where you are sam adams has a few greats easy beginner sours stonybrook red and the american kreak are two barrel aged collection great beginner sours that wont blow your head off
