Recorking Belgian bottles

How do people feel about putting the cork back in Belgian bottles after pouring a glass and wanting to save the rest for later?

I dunno, wondering how long the beer can be stored with that much head space...

I think you would want to drink the beer within 24 hours.

tried it once with one of those 'wine saver' corks just to see what would happen....Less than 24 hrs and completely undrinkable.
