I just joined the rest of the world and got an android smart phone. Does anyone have recommendations for good beer/brewing apps (or any other must haves)? I already plan to get the BN app and the Mr.Malty app.

Have you looked for BrewPal? Pretty cool little app for recipe formulation! I used it this weekend on my first AG batch and really helped with calculating my sparge and strike volumes and temps.. I trust it now bc I didn't miss any of my numbers. BTW I'm using it on an iPhone so I'm not sure if it's availble on android

BrewPal is iPhone only.
Brewzor Pro - Very clean and nice app for recipe formulation and has some calculators. Uses BeerXML so you can import BeerSmith stuff.
BJCPDroid - Handy little app of the style guidelines

I use Homebrew Calculators for IBU, strike water temp, and attenuation calculation. I still do recipe formulation (gravity calculations) with pencil and paper by hand.

A buddy and I started writing a brewing app a while back. Long enough ago there were no Android brewing apps at the time. We procrastinated long enough that now there is competition, but what the hell. Right now it's a recipe viewer (reads in BeerXML format) and you can share the recipes. It also has a shopping list function. Here's our webpage on it:
http://www.oneguyinabasement.com/apps/brewer/And here's a link directly to it on the Android Market:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.oneguyinabasement.brewerEventually we plan to have a full featured version that has mash timers, calculators, etc.
