Anybody hear about this? Man, I wish I could've tasted that brew. 200 years old stored at a constant temp. the researchers said they beers were still drinkable. The yeast is still intact and they are already planning a rebrew.

I've read this story and several like it. When I read the story it pissed me off that the story was about the champagne and the beer was an afterthought. The beer got no respect. I'd love if the yeast could be cultured but I've got the feeling it would be mutated. Still it's worth the trouble right?!

Why are you pissed? In Finland, they are talking about the beer. There's no mention of the champagne.
