Bringing Beer Back from Belgium

I'm headed to Belgium soon and was able to reserve 3 crates of Westvleteren 12. :pop I want to bring all of it back to the US. Are there any issues I should be aware of? I have three nice sturdy boxes with styrofoam inserts designed to hold 24 bottles of beer. I plan to make them my checked bags both on the way over and on the way back. Should I ship them back instead? Anyone here done something like this?

Yes, you should definitely ship them back...using my address. They'll never trace it back to you.

Btw, I have no idea. I only brought back 5 bottles of cantillon, but you're a big asshole for getting 3 crates of westy (and not giving me at least 2 7/8).
