Help a Homebrewer in need.

Sun Sep 26, 2010 10:04 am

Hello BN Army. If you can help out it would be great... Plus there are some great Raffle prizes and hopefully more to come...

The South Shore Brew Club of south eastern Massachusetts as well as the Massachusetts members of Homebrewtalk.com are hosting a raffle to help supports fellow homebrewer Jeff Fuller’s family in a time of need.

In August SSBC member and avid home brewer Jeff was stricken with “triple E” (Eastern equine encephalitis virus) which is transmitted to humans by the bite of an infected mosquito. It is a rare illness in humans, and only a few cases are reported in the United States each year. Most cases occur in the Atlantic and Gulf Coast states. Jeff has been in a Coma for weeks, but is showing signs of improvement. He has fought hard and battle through the toughest part of “triple E” , but has a long road to hall before he is back to normal. Jeff right now is in an extended care facility and we are all pulling that he will be in a rehabilitation center soon. Even though his family has healthcare and Jeff’s employers are being very helpful, there are going to be a lot of costs that they will need to incur during his rehabilitation and SSBC and Homebrewtalk.com Massachusetts members want to help.

They have created a Raffle in which tickets are $20 and many great people have helped by donating raffle items. Brewmasters Warehouse and The Witches Brew in Foxboro, ma has been helpful with donating gift certificates as well as some equipment. Get more information and please buy one or more raffle tickets at:

http://www.jeffraffle.info

As of right now here are the items that we have for the Raffle:
-Complete All Grain Brewing System (15 Gallon Keggle, Cooler Mash Tun, Turkey Fryer, Immersion Chiller, Mash Paddle)
-7 Gallon Stainless Conical
-$50 gift certificate Homebrewers Warehouse
-$50 gift certificate Homebrewers Warehouse
-$100 gift certificate The Witches Brew
-Two tickets to a New England Patriots homegame in Foxboro Ma
- 5 gallon glass carboy

***Please note if you are not local to Massachusetts you will be incharge of incurring any shipping costs that may come from winning a raffle item.

***(You will not receive a physical raffle ticket, your Paypal Receipt is your ticket.)

Also we are looking for more items for the Raffle, so if you would like to donate an item or gift certificate to the raffle please contract Paul at Paulthenurse@yahoo.com

Please help us help the Fuller’s and find out more on the Hombrewtalk.com website.

Thanks,
Craig
