I haven't brewed a lot of beer since I moved to Kansas City. I wasn't able to bring most of my equipment. Supporting the local Micro Brewery is not always the most convenient way to go.

The guys in the Bay Area have places like BevMo and Plump Jack. I'm lucky enough to have a Lukas Liquor Superstore 10 minutes from my house. Jeremy, the beer manager, is a beer snob’s best friend. He loves beer, He loves talking about beer, and he is always searching for more. They have almost 600 beers, including several Belgian's that I have never seen on the West Coast.

Now if we could just get Lagunitas, Russian River, and Ale Smith, I'd be set.

So, where do you go?

In Charlotte, you gotta go to Brawley's. Don't let the size fool you, he's got lots of really great beers in there.

Found a case 'n' keg store near me that has some good beer (most around here are just Bud/Miller/Coors), they even have some Stone brews. Thing is, in PA you have to buy it by the case. You can get a 6er or singles from a bar, but you're going to pay about $3-4 for a 12oz single.

On the bright side, I never run out of bottles. :o

Contrary to popular belief, good beer can be found in this beer wasteland called Nebraska. Lincoln, Nebraska has The Still ( http://www.thestill.com/ ). It is a good all round liquor store and has a great selection of everything that is available from Nebraska distributors.
