Coor's New Innovation

Thu May 04, 2006 12:31 am

I nearly shit myself a few minutes ago when I saw a commercial running in Hawaii about Coor's coming up with a new way to protect the beer from the aluminum can. Apparently, they're supposed to be better than their competitor’s because their cans have liners? Here's a quote from the Coors Website:

In order to protect the Rocky Mountain taste of its beer, all Coors cans contain a Frost Brew Liner. With new graphics this summer, Coors Light is making it easy for consumers to identify the liners by making them visible with blue pull tabs and rims. The Frost Brew Liner cans with the blue rims will be on shelves May 1, 2006.

Hey, I have an idea. Maybe (try to follow me here)....just maybe....you could improve your position amongst your competitors by improving your beer....no? I should patent that!

Oh by the way...I invented post-its (may as well get on the badwagon  ).

I don't have a neat little quote because I'm not that cool.

Did it really help thier sales of Keystone when it came in a "Specially Lined" can. I guess it must cause it is probably the same damn thing in the Keystone cans as the Coors cans.
