We are booked to get into San Fran the afternoon of April 5th. Next I need to call Anchor and see how full they are for that week.

Thanks for suggestions, keep them coming.

Looking at a map, we will be almost as close to Sunnyvale as San Fran. Perhaps I should go write my own deal...

Muir Woods will put you just south of the best breweries in the Bay Area. Lagunitas and Russian River.

Lagunitas is a must stop. Recently is has become the local's secret spot. They have just finished their tap room and outdoor amphitheater. The place is just cool with numerous beers that you won't find outside the taproom. Did I mention hot chicks? On weekends, the place crawls with all sorts of talent who enjoy good beer.

Russian River needs no explanation. Great Pizza and the best sour and hoppy beers in the world.
If you go to just these two breweries, you will die a happy man.....

You're a 41 minute drive to Handles Gastropub in Pleasanton.

The Anchor tour was great. I always forget how much better the beers are fresh and not shipped half way across the country. We stopped at City Beer Store and found a great selection but not everything I was looking for. Does anyone know a good place to get some Drakes, Pliny, Trumer, and/or Heretic (I got some Evil Twin). We are staying with and being driven around by relatives in Foster City. Thanks.
