I don't know if this place does tours, but there's a new brewery in Newton, located on I-80 between Des Moines and Iowa City.

Cool, Bug. I used to work at Dirty John's back in the 90's. Not sure when the last time was you've been, but they have set up a glass shop in the house across the parking lot.

They have quite a bit of glassware available online:

These guys got it right Bug, Peacetree and Millstream are a must. I really like Court Ave brewpub in Des Moines, the guy does some great wood aged beer. All the head brewers in the brewpubs in Des Moines are good guys though, and all seem to support the local homebrew clubs.

Let me know when you are making the trip, I see if I can head down that way and meet up with your group. Also, if you go North Iowa - Worth Brewing in Northwood. He used to brew for Summit in MN then moved there with his family and opened a small place with the SABCO BrewMagic. I haven't tried it yet, but heard he makes great stuff, I have emailed him before and he's very friendly. Stay away from Beck's in Cedar Falls and Hub City in Olwein - waste of time.
My wife used to call me an alcoholic, so I started brewing beer. Now I have a hobby, and I'm a beer enthusiast, not an alcoholic.
