I'll eat the biscuits from this recipe myself now and then.

Has anyone tried/thought of adding beef or chicken broth to the mixture for added flavour? I know beer is amazing.. but the chicken/beef flavour may be enjoyed aswell...

To which recipe are you referring? I have been making them from the first recipe. Haven't met a dog yet that doesn't love them, even my buddy's grumpy-ass schnauser perks up when he sees me now. Little bastard.

I was referring to the recipe of

4c Spent Grain
4c Flour
1c Peanut Butter
1-2 Egg(s)

How about adding a can of chicken or beef broth for extra flavour?

I dont know about a whole can. If you do use a can or box of it, make sure to bump up the ingredients to match, especially the flour. I think that I would go for the lower sodium, and reduce it by about half on the stove(reduce as in concentrate, not omitting half), this will really bring out the flavor of the stock/broth. If you do that, you may as well eat them yourself, too. Or are you making them for yourself, already?
