Update:

I'm not sure if I mentioned it in the thread, but I'd split the participant pool into three groups, similar to last year for those of you that did it then.

Veteran (have successfully sent in the past, or I know they are good for it, like Doc)
First timer (doing SS for the first time since I've been handling it, but have been active in the forum for a while)
First time first timers (new to SS and the forum, whether new or longtime listener)

Here are the current response rates as of this morning.

Veterans: 23.5% shipped (let's step it up, yes?)
FTs: 33.3% shipped
FTFTs: 50.0% shipped


*There was a 4th pool of those FTFTs that didn't confirm with me in the last few days leading up to the deadline. Any FTFT that didn't get back to me by the deadline didn't get included in the initial round SS, but I was able to get enough straggling in that they are doing a separate exchange among themselves. Anyone want to take odds on that?

Got my UPS box yesterday, took my 10 minutes to get at the beer it was so well packaged!

Yeah, my first time mailing beer so I thought I'd wrap it so well you'd need the jaws of life to get at it. Besides, big packages require lots of care. 'd my beer mailing cherry!

Since Ozwald is just an active lurker in the SS 2013 thread, I'm pretty sure that was a euphemism... besides, I know who my Secret Santa is...

I received my beer last week. Thanks Beerd Man! I haven't had a chance to drink any yet but I am excited to try the pumpkin Saison. The Stone Vertical Epic and Belching Beaver will be shared around the Christmas Dinner table.

My packages from BigBS should be arriving at my door tonight. Pretty damn excited.
